Fair warning beforehand, I'm going to express my opinion here, people who are willing to debate my opinions in a civil matter, please be welcomed . Flamerzz...get your kicks elsewhere. Read on your own Risk.

Okay, so about this Motivational.

Why did I use the word Shipwank and not Shippers? Well that is because there is a huge difference between the two terms in my vocabulary.

Shippers People who are a fan of a certain pairing in an Anime that know how to respect their fellow Shippers and their often different opinions.
People that can have a friendly and respectful debate or discussion regarding those differences and who do not hate on other people just because of a difference of opinion.

Shipwanks People who are a fan of a certain pairing in Anime and forcefully try and change someone else's beliefs and opinions, Often been seen making hate or ANTI propaganda in a really disrespectful way and who do not have any regards for other peoples feelings.

There you have it.

I'm really getting annoyed at all the hating that is going on in the Naruto fandom. Especially when it comes to Naruto pairings.

There are Shipwanks in EVERY corner, NaruSaku,NaruHina,SasuSaku, SasuNaru.NaruIno,GaaSaku Sasuhina ....and i can go on and on and on.

Seriously now people, and I am talking to the Shipwanks here, isn't time for you to grow up and be civilized when interacting with other people that do not share your opinion? I can do it so why can't you?
Is it because you are too stubborn to understand that people have a right to hold on to their own believes, Do you really feel the need to trample all over said believes just for your own satisfaction? Don't you think that is kind of pathetic? And really immature?

I've met my share of Shipwanks and at first they made me angry but now, I'll just let them have their trolling fun. Because i know that there are sensible Shippers out there who do know respect and who do like to hear about other peoples opinion, who are curious why one supports a different pairing then they do. so Shippers, if you ever encounter a Shipwank again, just ignore them.

Furthermore, Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden isn't all about the pairings anyway. It's great Anime with a good plot that is intriguing as well as hard to grip sometimes but that is why i love the show so much.

Yes I am a NaruSaku Shipper, but for me i watch the show mostly to see if Naruto will become hokage or not and because of the character growth and development Kishimoto-san injects into his ninja world.

So there you have it, my opinion on shipwanks and whatnot. Feel free to comment. If you are hurt by anything that i might have said, well that just proves my point plus I did warn you but I do not mean to harm people personally. You read this at your own risk, I can not be held responsible.

This is seriously one of the best things I have come across on DeviantART. A person who actually makes SENSE when it comes to pairings! Like, seriously, I basically ship every pairing out there because it's just fun, but Shipwanks are annoying as fuck when they try to force their opinions on me (that's basically why I like certain pairings over another). Although Shipwank vs. Shipwank is definitely one of the most entertaining things in the world. But seriously, I applaud you for making this.

I totally agree with you on this.

My OTP is SasuHina, but I know that it will never happen in the actual series. I ship it, but I'm not going to bash any people who don't like it or who like pairings that I don't like. With the amount of characters in a series like Naruto, there are going to be an enormous number pairings (many appearing to be nonsensical to some people) that will emerge, but everyone will have their own reasons for liking or disliking those pairings, so you can't really knock them about it. I respect other people's opinions, so long as they are respectful and act mature about it.
The thing that bugs me the most is as you say: people who will go to a fanart/fanfic/video dedicated to RESPECTING a character or pairing and then openly bashing them. If you don't like something, shouldn't the proper ADULT decision be to avoid it rather than hurting other people's feelings with negative words?

Seriously, I think you really expressed my feelings perfectly here. I'm a hardcore SasuNaru and SasuNaruSaku shipper even though I dont ship SasuSaku or NaruSaku. But still, I like yo attitude gurl!
